A 6 mesi di distanza da quando ha condiviso con il mondo il suo desiderio di creare un nuovo canale televisivo via cavo, Diddy lancia finalmente la sua ultima avventura imprenditoriale chiamata Revolt TV.
Revolt TV sarà un canale musicale che riprenderà da dove, i canali concorrenti come MTV, BET e VH1, hanno cambiato strada, ossia dedicando l'intero palinsesto alla musica e dando spazio ad artisti e a generi musicali che normalmente non avrebbero alcuna possibilità di essere trasmessi in televisione.
Per meglio comunicare con il giovane pubblico a cui è rivolta Revolt TV, molta attenzione sarà focalizzata proprio all'interazione social degli utenti.
In merito Sean Diddy Combs ha dichiarato: "Music is consumed at an all-time high right now. If you think about it, in the next five years, television will be everywhere. It will be on your mobile devices. It will be everywhere. It will be worldwide. That’s really the opportunity I saw. I saw there was no ESPN of music. There was no CNN of music. There was no one trusted destination."
